Coaching is a process whereby you and I work together to clarify vision and core values for your family, and then align your life with them. It’s not consulting or mentoring, supervising, nor managing, and it’s not a form of counseling or therapy. It’s about building your vision, growing, and moving toward an amazing future for yourself and your family!

What is coaching?

What happens during coaching?

Our professional relationship moves you forward through weekly Google meet sessions lasting 45 to 50 minutes. Growth then occurs in the time between sessions as you dig into specific exercises designed to help you find new perspectives, gain clarity, set goals and overcome obstacles

Is coaching confidential?

Coaching is a confidential relationship and the coach agrees to keep all information strictly confidential, except in those situations in which such confidentiality would violate the law or could jeopardize the safety of the client or others.

Who is coaching for?

Coaching is for people who are basically well adjusted, emotionally healthy, functioning effectively, and wanting to make changes in their lives.

What does coaching cover?

Coaching is designed to address issues the person being coached would like to consider. These could include (but are not limited to) career development, relationship enhancement, spiritual growth, lifestyle management, life balance, decision making, movement through transitions, or the achievement of short-term or long-term goals.

How long will coaching take?

Coaching will be an ongoing relationship that might take a number of months depending on goals. Although either party can terminate at any time.

Is coaching therapy?

Coaching is not therapy, counseling, advice-giving, mental health care, or treatment for substance abuse. The coach is not functioning as a licensed mental health professional and coaching is not intended as a replacement for counseling, psychiatric interventions, treatment for mental illness, recovery from past abuse, professional medical advice, financial assistance, legal counsel, or other professional services.

What is involved in coaching?

Coaching can involve brainstorming, values clarification, the completion of written assignments, education, goal setting, identifying plans of action, accountability, making requests, assignments to change behavior, examining lifestyle, and questioning.
